Sailing comprises wind propulsion of a craft by means of sails or other airfoils and steering it over water. A sailor manages the force of the wind on the sails by adjusting their angle with respect to the moving sailing craft and sometimes by adjusting the sail area.

Every Thursday we travel by bus to Middle Island (near Repulse Bay) and sail with the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club coaches. Sessions will run from 4-6pm, starting Thu 8th September. You do not need to be an expert but you do need to be a competent swimmer. You will make your own way home after each session.

Beginners will work for a Level 1 certificate. Others can gain a level 2 certificate or try new classes of boat and race training. Something for every level!  There are 12 places available for sailing but groups must be made up of 6 people.

There is an extra cost of $2,850 for this activity. Payment is due BEFORE the first session.
